SUPPLEMENTARY NOTES

The EUROTOX Executive Committee decides membership. Some guidelines follow as to which organisations may apply for Corporate Membership of EUROTOX:

  • Non-governmental federations representing the chemical safety industry of European countries. The countries in question will usually belong to the Council of Europe and the World Trade Organisation
  • Bodies outside Europe may apply, although they will probably have a centre of operations in one of the EUROTOX member countries; or, they are engaged in chemical manufacture and/or distribution in more than one European country; in any case suitable applicants will be committed to supporting EUROTOX mission and activities.
  • Companies that are engaged in information transfer or recruiting in toxicology in a EUROTOX member country and/ or usually take part in EUROTOX activities may also apply. All applicants must respect and support EUROTOX statutes, objectives, policies and rules of operation.
