EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The EUROTOX SC Education is responsible for all activities of EUROTOX related to the basic and advanced academic education, post-graduate education and professional training of toxicologists in Europe.

To achieve this goal, it:

1. organizes continuous education courses, workshops, and panel discussions during the EUROTOX Annual Meeting
2. organizes and/or participates in the organization of basic and advanced courses in all fields of toxicology at different venues in Europe, frequently in close collaboration with a national Toxicological Society
3. prepares decisions on financial support for young toxicologists to enable them to participate in toxicological courses
4. develops concepts for the improvement of toxicological education and training in Europe
5. keeps close contact with European centres of toxicological education, and works on coordinated efforts in this field

CORPORATE SUB-COMMITTEE

The aim of this committee is to promote the corporate membership, a new category of institutional membership designed for bodies having an expertise in the chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, food, cosmetics, agriculture and environment.
