General Guidelines

  • All information is the submission form must be filled out.
  • All speakers must be confirmed. This is key to avoid delays during the implementation phase.
  • Sessions should bring together a broad variety of perspectives from academics, the industry, regulators, and interdisciplinary approaches (basic research, clinical/epidemiological, regulation).
  • Geographical distribution is important. No more than 2 speakers from the same country, except for CEC’s.
  • Whenever possible, endorsement by a Speciality Section strengthens collaboration and increased field support in the program.
  • One speaker may participate in a maximum of 2 sessions, but not on the same day.
  • Session funding is not mandatory; however, any resources to cover expenses is welcomed.
    • Speaker funding offers registration, travel, and hotel.
    • No funding available for Chair and Co-Chairs

Guidelines to Prepare your Proposal

  • Use a clear and creative title.
  • Have a clear purpose and objectives.
  • Content should be relevant and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Include emerging areas of research to attract greater interest and encourage innovation.
  • Offer a balanced view of perspectives from academics, the industry and practitioners across several disciplines.
