The Education SubCommittee is responsible for all activities of EUROTOX related to the basic and advanced academic education, post-graduate education and professional training of toxicologists in Europe.
To achieve this goal, it:
- organizes continuous education courses, workshops, and panel discussions during the EUROTOX Annual Meeting
- organizes and/or participates in the organization of basic and advanced courses in all fields of toxicology at different venues in Europe, frequently in close collaboration with a national Toxicological Society
- prepares decisions on financial support for young toxicologists to enable them to participate in toxicological courses
- develops concepts for the improvement of toxicological education and training in Europe
- keeps close contact with European centres of toxicological education, and works on coordinated efforts in this field
