Education Program

Education is an essential part of EUROTOX's mission. Our program promotes education and training of toxicology at various levels and target audiences, from early career scientists to expert/advanced level.

ERT recognised courses

Courses organised by external organisation, but recognized by EUROTOX as Comprehensive training in toxicology for the purpose of registration (ERT courses) or as Continuing professional development for the purpose of maintaining ERT registration (CPD courses) can be found in the ERT section.

EUROTOX co-finances courses in collaboration with Member Societies to promote training in toxicology and educational resources available in under representative countries at minimal cost.

These specialised toxicology courses provide more in-depth knowledge in specific areas of toxicology to graduates who possess a working-level knowledge in toxicology and have gained some experience in its application (e.g. through occupation or studying for a PhD).

Upcoming courses will be posted on our website, newsletter, and social media.

Rolling Program CEC

This is a 5-year program to ensure the development and implementation of CEC at annual meetings that support the requirements to ERT recognition and training.

Starting 2022, EUROTOX will support two CEC courses at the annual congress. The selected topics will ensure a continuous and seamless evolution of toxicology topics of interest and relevancy to early career and senior scientists.

Faculty Webinars

Launched in early 2023, monthly Faculty webinars cover a wide range of  topics:

  • Toxicology with hazard assessment
  • How were the COVID vaccines developed so quickly?
  • Why is developmental and reproductive toxicity testing important in risk assessment?

Upcoming webinars will be posted on our website, newsletter, and social media.

Recordings of EUROTOX webinars can be viewed in Youtube

Scientific Exchange

EUROTOX is currently evaluating the opportunity to implement a Scientific Training – Short Exchange/Training Programme for exchange of hands on lab training.
